Following the break out success of Donell Lewis’ NZ Top 10 single ‘Put It On Me’ and Pieter T’s DNK produced platinum hit ‘My Baby’, DNK World Music are pleased to announce the addition of #1 club ranking DJ Lenium to their team.
Notorious for his popular role in the Auckland nightclub scene as the founder and director of Lenium Beats, Sean Farhmand as he is otherwise known will assume his position at the label as an artist/producer.
Lenium has supported international acts such as Chiddy Bang, the Black Eyed Peas, Memphis Bleek and David Banner and has toured overseas in both Australia and Indonesia during his 10-year career. He is also the resident DJ at Jet nightclub in Auckland’s CBD on Friday and Saturday nights, hosting the events ‘Urban Select’ and ‘That Shit Cray’.
His debut single ‘Want It’ featuring Illegal Musik’s K-One and DNKWM’s own DLove and Rickey Okay is available now and will be serviced to radio this week. Fans can expect to see more self-produced material from the renowned DJ in the near future.
Label director Karnel Williams says, “I have big plans for Lenium and with everything he has achieved so far independently, it shows me that he is ready to step up and accept a new challenge. We’re pleased to announce him as our newest team member and no doubt he will continue to strive for nothing less than success”.
