ANNOUNCING Kids And Their Chemicals - the new single

Auckland Indie Folk/Rock band Five Mile Town announce the imminent release of a new single called ‘Kids And Their Chemicals’. The song was delivered to New Zealand Radio and media on NZ On Air’s KiwiHits Disc #154. It will be available as a purchasable download from iTunes Australia and New Zealand, and Spotify worldwide from November 15th 2012

The original folk-style version of thesong was included on the debut Five Mile Town EP, released in March 2012. With it’s catchy chorus showing greater commercial potential, under the expert production ear of Andrew Buckton at Studio 203 it has grown into a powerful and energetic folk/rock track.

Funded by NZ On Air, ‘Kids And Their Chemicals’ is a catchy and compelling radio friendly single that will appeal to a wide range of music lovers.

ANNOUNCING Kids And Their Chemicals - the new music video

Five Mile Town will also release to local music TV channels the NZ ON Air funded ‘Kids And Their Chemicals’ music video. The new video was shot by Ben Forman, the director responsible for  the beautiful, haunting and semi-viral ‘Saturated’ - the video and song that brought Five Mile Town to the world’s attention.

Stem Creative’s new Five Mile Town music video is a light hearted and playful take on a song simmering with darker and more foreboding themes of drugs and youth. Filmed using high definition Red cinematography, the video is a beautifully shot, extremely colourful and very memorable.

The Kids And Their Chemicals music video will be delivered to Juice TV, C4, TVNZ U from 6pm Wednesday November 14th 2012 at the NZ On Air Media Showcase (see below)
