Band & Musician News - Lisa Crawley 'What Would I Give' Single

Lisa Crawley 'What Would I Give' Single

15 February 2013 - 0 Comments

After releasing her debut album Everything That I Have Seen in October 2011, Lisa Crawley has been working on her 2nd album, which is currently in production. What Would I Give is the first single from this forthcoming record due for release in August 2013

Lisa has been nominated for the Silver Scroll award two years in a row. Her current single Blind Eyes has recently been featured on the Windows 8 TV3 and Oxfam commercial.

What Would I Give was the #1 featured song and winner of $10,000 in funding through the website http://www.theaudience.co.nz/ and featured on the B net student radio networks around the country and has recently made it to the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competition. The song was recorded at Roundhead Studios and mixed at Revolver Studios. Lisa worked with producer Djeisan Suskov (Kids of 88, Ladi6, Tiny Ruins, Artisan Guns) on the track and the music video is directed by Nikki Castle, who directed Lisa’s videos for Leaving and You Won’t Be There. The video features a giant pink elephant (all the way from China) that appears in different scenarios representing paranoia and the thoughts we don’t want to think, but seem to pop up when they’re least wanted! Watch the official video for What Would I Give here - http://youtu.be/L5oOtjwID9U

Lisa will be on tour with Tim Finn in Australia late February, and performing a national tour with Greg Johnson in late March.
