Jackie Thomas Announced As The Winner Of X Factor New Zealand 2013

23 July 2013 - 0 Comments

After a hugely successful debut season of X FACTOR NEW ZEALAND, the highly anticipated winner of the show has been announced as 22-year old Jackie Thomas.

Up against fellow finalists, Benny Tipene and Whenua Patuwai – Jackie took out the competition with a stunning performance of her winning single titled It’s Worth It on the grand finale episode that aired on TV3 at 7:30pm this evening.

Hosted by Dominic Bowden, with Melanie Blatt, Daniel Bedingfield, Stan Walker and Ruby Frost as the four-strong judging panel, The X Factor NZ is the first local version of the global television phenomenon format put on the map by music mogul Simon Cowell.

Jackie’s self-titled debut album will be released on August 9th through Sony Music and will feature many of the songs that she has performed throughout the television series.
