Every so often a new talent emerges seemingly from nowhere. And yet, it’s almost as if you’ve known them forever. Welcome to the stage Theia. In late August, Theia released her single Roam, produced by Josh Fountain (Broods, Maala). A catchy glitter pop anthem with a soaring chorus, Roam has now passed 3 million streams on Spotify and is currently the most played NZ song at radio. This summer Theia will be touring NZ with Broods and Kings as part of the Electric Coastline tour. As the tastemakers have already rightly identified, Theia is ‘definitely one to watch’.
