Fear the Fun is the first single which will appear on Pale Lady’s sophomore EP My New Maze. This Baroque inspired song is fun and catchy, capturing the creative spirit of the previous Told To Fold EP, but with new ideas and a refined production style. The song will be released on all online platforms on April 22nd.
The Fear the Fun release show will be on April 18th at Caroline in Wellington. Supporting acts Dream State Empire and Goodnight My Darling will start off the night, with doors opening at 8pm.
Soon to be the first band to play on the moon, Pale Lady brings you a fresh blend of energy, smiles, and angst to create a new form of Alt Pop-Rock. Since forming in late 2016, Pale Lady has gone on to win the New Zealand national Battle of the Bands competition, with two members also winning best guitarist. They have opened for international legends such as The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, released two singles and an EP with critical acclaim, and are now currently preparing for an international tour of Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, starting late April. Watching these rock fanatics live, you can expect to be immersed in lush vocal harmonies, a one-man drums/keyboard combo, inappropriate bass licks, and guitar solos a plenty. With new singles and an EP on the horizon, Pale Lady will be on the moon before you can say ‘logistics’.
