Betchadupa was an Auckland rock band fronted by Neil Finn's son Liam. Betchadupa was formed in the late 90s, around the nucleus of second-generation rock musicians Matt Eccles and Liam Finn.
The two formed a musical partnership in their early teens that, with the addition of friends Garland and Bramley, has resulted in two fine EP's and a top 10 NZ album for the Flying Nun label. After some top gigs in NZ and Australia throughout 2002/3 inlcuding an Australian tour with Pearl Jam and Queens of the Stone Age, the band moved to the US market and they also performed at a showcase gig at the 2003 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
