Betchadupa was an Auckland rock band fronted by Neil Finn's son Liam. Betchadupa was formed in the late 90s, around the nucleus of second-generation rock musicians Matt Eccles and Liam Finn.
The two formed a musical partnership in their early teens that, with the addition of friends Garland and Bramley, has resulted in two fine EP's and a top 10 NZ album for the Flying Nun label. After some top gigs in NZ and Australia throughout 2002/3 inlcuding an Australian tour with Pearl Jam and Queens of the Stone Age, the band moved to the US market and they also performed at a showcase gig at the 2003 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
Supa Day debuted in the Official New Zealand Top 40 Singles on 16 June 2002. It has been in the Top 40 Singles for one week with a highest position of #29. There are five songs by Betchadupa in the Top 40 Singles.
