its not real music, metal is gud because there is a damn lot of skill playn gud stuff in its relation so get off that crap im putting that word around skewl for all music (except metal) u may think im makin a dik of myslf doing so but this nation has too much emo, rap, crap, pop-punk, rubbish, punk assed, etc., sort of music (if u can even call it that) mainstream shit makes ppl believe they should like it because its on a stupid coke show (not that the drink isnt gud Laughing ) but it givs ppl a low self esteem level and they always hav this stupid pressure of havn to kno the words to a song made by a computar otherwise not being wot this mainstream overflown country wuld call kewl so basicly im sayn get off all music and listen to metal, IT HAS SKILL INVOLVED, peace!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey i was just reading your post,

I love Punk and "emo" but I do not dress like an Emo person. People that dress like an emo stereotype are taking their music too seriously. I can understand them wearing their bands shirts and their tight pants. I just dont think they should read into Emo too much...

I hate it when some people say to non-emo's "SHUT UP YOU EMO AND GO CUT UR WRISTS" i think it's not nice and very very mean. I confront them and tell them to stop saying that (they jus stare and laugh) personally i think there's nothing funny about telling someone to go cut the wrists.
If i had the guts it would be a quick slap to the head a hard one by the way if they said that infront of me. or else it would be something mean from my mouth..... I jus get so fucking pissed off i tell ya
But there's nothing you could do about it i think. Sad

I got nothing against emos, but i think they (some people) help to bring it on them selves... its the people that are depressed because of the music that give them the reputation...I like it how they dress if its not too over done... it shows that they are into the same music as me....

tidsy, there is plenty of metal and punk pretty much every weekend at the basement bar in new plymouth. It's not as if its not available here in new zealand its just that mainstream music is blown up by the media for the fact that it is commercial and brings in profits thus paying for the likes of radio frequencies, equipment so forth and so on.

It's all about the money.

yip yip i agree with stevo on some terms, there's heaps of rad metal/emo/rock/punk bands that heaps of people haven't heard of. They jus prefer to stay underground than try gain money and popularity, they're the real people who play for the love of playing Razz

your right, their attitudes are heavily influenced by their music I feel. Because some of the music they listen to have very negative conotations. No, No!

I think goths hate life and everything in it much more than emos. And I also believe goths are more into the death side of things. No, No!

Emo and hardcore is more influenced by Punk Music
Goths listen to Thrashy Metal and Death Metal an Extension of Heavy Metal (but taken too far i might add)

Well thats how I view it Anyways
