RE: What's your favourite band? Posted: Sun Jul 8, 2007 10:01 pm The Pixies are a very special Band. Black Francis is fair screaming as I type. I guess it depends on the day. Odessa , Gramsci, Ishtar, Straitjacket Fits are all NZ bands who have done recordings I really like. Looking forward to the debuts of Christchurch Bands/Artists, Mustard, Cris Fulton, Lisa Tui and Oval Office. Hopefully not to far away. |

RE: What's your favourite band? Posted: Mon Jul 9, 2007 10:26 am Sooooooooo hard to pick one single favourite. Right now I'll have to go with Black Sabbath. I like too many styles, it's so hard to choose. |

RE: What's your favourite band? Posted: Mon Jul 9, 2007 4:15 pm I'm 98% sure A Perfect Circle called it quits. The sound at Big Day Out is always shit, without fail, 100% of the time. Actually festivals in general tend to be very rough around the edges with regards to sound. |

RE: What's your favourite band? Posted: Mon Jul 9, 2007 8:37 pm Yeah he's a great frontman, sounds like he gave Axl a run for his money. My mate that scored me the drumtech work spent 2 days with those guys, he was out drinking with Bach until 5am the day of the gig - and Bach still pulled off a ripping show. I wonder if he did "Youth Gone Wild", since he's not exacly young anymore hahaha. |

RE: What's your favourite band? Posted: Tue Jul 10, 2007 10:15 am ^^^ Yup, what a load of bollocks that was. It was a shame because it had Scott Ian, one of my favourite guitarists on there.... and that twat from Biohazard... that band was NEVER good. |
