I don't think they belong in that category at all.

And for the record I don't hate all nu metal, there were a coupla good bands (Snot springs to mind)

i have a sneeking suspition that nightwish are going to do bdo as they have announced an oz tour on their site. not the biggest nightwish fan but they would be interesting to see.

i agree deftones arent nu metal they often get mixt up with korn and the like.not that there is anything wrong with nu metal, its often a good means of bringing a new audience intrested in metal

if deftones and rage play then i would bet my money that maynard will make guest apperences in their sets as they both have songs featuring him (pasenger by deftones and know your enimy by rage)

I highly doubt Maynard would travel to guest on two songs.

The Deftones often play Passenger without him.

It'd be sooooo cool to see "Know your Enemy" played with him though, such a cool part.

I love this. Every year there is the token BDO thread and it racks up more posts and views in the months leading up to the BDO than the rest of the forum sees all year. Neutral
