that stuff on the news at the moment is fucken disgusting. The parents who abused that 3 year old need to be hung or someone beat the shit out of them. I'd be happy to do it, no kid deserves that, i'd fuck all of them up, the dad, mum and grandparents...and YES i did say the mother, i mean if they fucken bitch can do that to their child, then i'm more then happy for fucken hook that bitch in the face. I'd be more than willing to go to jail for fucken up some cunt who does such a thing, fucken coward bastards need to be fucken delt with in such a fucken inhumane manner, it pisses me off, they fucken abuse their kids who can't fight back in anyway n all they can do is cry. there is at least another 2 kids in the house.

5 arrests ages from 17- 47. which pretty much correlates to the above post from JCK2

We seem to be slow in realizing that violence is learned behavior.And if your education is only progressed to what you can take, what you can get away with or how hard you can hit all of Society has a problem.

Equally repulsive however is the usual Paragons of Virtue Championing there greatness whilst it is there Policy's and systematic looting of the Community's Assets that is the single greatest contributor to our Nations Appalling record on Child Violence (actually violence in general). It is the far right policy's of 23 years successive Governments who are responsible for endemic and hopeless Poverty. Christine Rankin? quite happy to be the mechanism of cutting Benefits, now happy to blame the Poor...it is beyond revolting...

Only a fool could believe this. It's amazing what makes the paper and what does not... and what is Abuse by some Races is good Parenting by others.

I have to agree with foal30. It is much the same as starving a dog that has puppies and then blaming the dog for killing and eating it's puppies. However the remedy to get all the DPB Mothers into the inquisition to make sure they are good parents because only beneficiaries beat their children isn't very far sighted of the Government.

Sterilisation, public torture and capital punishment would not stop the cycle of abuse. To implement any of these measures many here are advocating would simply show how barbaric our society could become in dealing with its criminals. Who exactly is going to decide who gets sterilized or does that depend on peoples occupation and bank balance? Likewise locking criminals up forever in the hope they will get the bash from other inmates is all a bit childish.

the use of Violence as instrument of Public will (regardless of Public will normally) is by definition a corrupter.

Providing Violence as an Instrument of Justice or as a "Solution" pretty much says we have not only no answers, we actually no longer care or have the effort or resources to fix the problem.

I won't start on the Jail system. I hear two of the Rotorua Defendants appeared in the bock well beaten though.
