Thoughts on Wellington. Posted: Mon Feb 4, 2008 8:10 pm I'm currently in the process of sourcing stuff for a short film I'm making about Wellington and the people who reside within the destrict. To help me, can you let me know your thoughts, images, likes and dislikes about Wellington by posting on here. ANY comment that has something to do with Wellington is relevant. Thanks for your help. RE: Thoughts on Wellington. Posted: Wed Feb 6, 2008 6:13 pm Whenever I think of Wellington, the first thing I remember is walking along the street past a GE Money store, and noticing that someone had taken a giant dump right in the doorway. Otherwise, Cuba St is rad, all the suits barging around the CDB is lame. I haven't really been to Wellington that much and when I have been it's been for work or for a specific purpose, so I haven't had time to have much of a look around. |

RE: Thoughts on Wellington. Posted: Sat Feb 16, 2008 10:40 am Clownie, it sounds like you should've gone to courtney place rather than Cuba street if those two bars were the highlight of your experience. |

RE: Thoughts on Wellington. Posted: Sun Feb 17, 2008 11:30 am Just thought of something else... getting lost and driving around Basin Reserve about five times until we decided which road to go down. Quote:And the houses look like they're going to fall off the cliffs any second. That's one thing that fascinates me. We don't have any hills here, so nothing is perched anywhere. Add to that the fact that a lot of those places were built decades ago... I wouldn't want to live in one! What's the hill there with the old gun battery called? I remember going up there as a kid. |

RE: Thoughts on Wellington. Posted: Sun Feb 17, 2008 2:15 pm Wellington has an awesome atmosphere and some real good venues... especially the San Fran Bathhouse I wouldn't want to live there though, or be there when an big earthquake strikes... but it's a good place to visit |

RE: Thoughts on Wellington. Posted: Mon Feb 18, 2008 8:35 am I've never been to Valve, I've just heard that it's a rock bar. And since all the rock bars in Aucks have been closed down I'd enjoy going to one again. Agent are awesome. Their Drummer is hot. |
