Who Hates Hip Hop... and wants to come to a rock concert Saturday 16th October, at Zebedees, 479 Blenheim Rd, Christchurch. Support local band Threepoint Turn, playing with The Beige Curtains. Five bucks on the door for wicked late night entertainment!!

I wouldn't go so far to say I hate hip hop. I listen to it every now and then, if it's on the radio or whatever.

Bugger about the concert and the fact im in Auckland.

I did hate hip hop until I heard 'Jonny and the Robba'.

They have a really unique style that kind of combines rock with hip hop. Sounds
really funky and they are down to earth as well. Not rapping about cars and girls, which is nice for a change.

Does any one know where they are from and if they are doing gigs yet?

I agree with you grim_entropy but unfortunately before i found rock music i was a slave to hip hop..but now i've found my right genrethank goodness for rock music..otherwise id still b listeining to hip hop

i like metal
i like opera
i like pop
i like jazz
i like punk
i like hardcore
ETC ETC

hip hop is good music when you listen to the right stuff.
same with rock or any other genre, there's some pretty fuckin shit <insert genre name here> bands out there. neither is better than the other, it's a matter of preference.

well i definately dont hate hip hop...nz or international...i dont hate rok either...actually some songs can get stuck in my head for days!!! but the thing that i always say (literally) is if its got a good beat then im luvn it...(not xactly the same wurds but ahh well)

Before I found hip hop..I found singing jesus' songs pretty cool I still do but yeah..HipHop's cool.....rock is 2...anything with a cool tune beat that flows by my ear is cool except 4 REGGAE
