fuck it doesn't matter, the bands get fuck all out of the sale of Cds anyway, it's all the stuff that goes with being a band that they gain from.

I don't give a fuck if some corporate big wig isn't getting his share of the profits if I burn shit, fuck him!



going to see a band live is the best way to support them.

You're correct about bands not seeing a lot of $ from sales. A majority of that money goes BACK into the cost of the recording, which can be in the tens of thousdands if you're talking NZ, or hundreds of thousands upwards overseas. Not to mention

I'm not gonna lie, I download HEAPS of music, but if it really spins my wheels I'll buy it, to support the artist, though that depends on how big the band is...

if it's a lesser-known band, I'm more likely to pay the cost of importing or whatever because I know that the band needs the money more than, say, I dunno, Eminem or Avril Lavigne or whatever.

and I definately draw the line at downloading/burning Kiwi music... cuz I know how much money they DON'T make selling albums and touring... even the mildly successful bands still need day jobs to pay the rent.
