new zealand save me

i'm hoping to move to nz soon from oakland california to play music, record, get rad in general, try to make some neat music, i have been in a number of bands recorded and produced a gripn of neat records and hope to continue this habit in a foriegn land. i believe that there are mp3's of an old band i was in on gold standard labs website www.goldstandardlabs.com under the band heart of snow. i am a multi talented musician- piano/organ/saxaphone/guitar/bass/ i've been building synths and other noise instruments for some years. before i make my way to nz i plan on spending nthree months in thailand doing field recordings and hopefully playing with thai musicians. top 5 bands as of now: 13 floor elevators, the pop group, trenchtown dub, this heat, too short (oakland baBY) but don't let this be the final count just the first five records in the stack. i'm 27, and ready to rock steady if you know what i mean.

I would like to know more about your requirements for a Female Vocalist.

I am 19 years old.

I am basically from INDIA...I used to sing on the national radio there...had a band there....have a few awards for singing under my belt

I am really interested in joing a band.

My voice is kinda like "Amy-lee(from Evanescence) meets Sarah Mclachlan" type,ya...pretty much accurate i must say!

I am learning piano as well.

Unless screaming is invovled..i'm up for anythin!!!
