the year was 1977, end of year of the dragon. ploink out i popped. 77 was a great year, so was 76 but i wasn't around, then before i could blink it was 1980, i was three... john lennon was assasinated, reagan elected, and the smell and spirit of rebellion in the air was thick as peoples hair colors and fashions began to represent the rebellious air and massive freak out and waiverance ffrom family values and the fundamental christian ideology that was thrown in the peoples faces by the glowing boxesin most peoples homes for every gi joe character there was 10 purple rooster haired freak challenging the capital structure and seeking equality where it could be found, not conformity. I don't dye my hair; though, i have, it's the freedom that i love to express ones self in any way, which or form they choose to it's a beautiful thing. I love humans who are chamelions, those of us who don't limit our lives by boundries but rather try to break them down and play with them have fun with them, real true experimentation not just channel changing. Well that was quite a rant i must say. Currently i live in oakland, california where i attend art school majoring in film/video/performance, have played in bands and done a massive amount of recording and production work for local bands and bands from other areas. i've been building video camera's,synthesizers and noise instruments for some time. I listen to any music i can, currently top 10: this heat (all), devils anvil (hard rock from the middle east), rubbledub (amazing dub record), captain beef heart, erik satie compositions, pil 'second edition', tuxedomoon (almost all), brian eno (taking tiger mountain, here come the warm jets, etc...), trench town dub, grand master flash 'remix12" '. i'd love to talk to some people about life in nz, bands and the possibilty of me moving there. love aaron
