Peanut Butter Wolf (AKA Chris Manak) is a master Los Angeles based DJ, Stones Throw Records Label owner (one of the most vital independent hip-hop labels in the US), producer, remixer, & record collector that has been living life in the hip-hop lane since he first heard the Sugarhill Gang in 1979.

With comparisons ranging from the likes of DJ Shadow, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien and Dan the Automator, Peanut Butter Wolf is one of the most innovative artists around: a producer / DJ at the forefront of LA’s thriving underground hip-hop / turntablist / electronica scene.

This lifelong vinyl junkie started Stones Throw Records in 1996, and has quickly blossomed into a who's who of progressive emcees and DJs.
