"Phil Toms & The Electric Car" debuted at The Grey Lynn Festival in Nov 07, and have since performed regularly at venues including Roasted Addiqtion in Kingsland and Barossa Cafe in Titirangi, as well as being a featured act at a Songwriters Showcase at Flax Cafe in Henderson in Mar 08. "Ex-"Herbs" bassist Phil Toms fronts his own band and leaves no stone unturned in the search for musical and social truth. A songwriter for 20 years, Fiona McEwen launched on the Auckland open mic scene in 2004. Since 2006 she has performed as a duo with Steve Terry at open mic nights, venues, events, folk clubs, markets and festivals throughout Auckland and West Auckland. "The FM Band" includes Fiona McEwen, Steve Terry, Phil Toms and Pedro Olding.
