Live at Titirangi Theatre - Saturday 26th July 7.30pm - Four different sounds - one great evening of music

Featuring FORBIDDEN JOE * BLACK SAND DIVA * POROA * FIONA McEWEN

FORBIDDEN JOE: Hailed by bFM radio as “up and coming folk superstars”, their dynamic arrangements and funky grooves, spiced with influences of Jazz, Celtic, European and Soul will make for a quirky show of songs and tunes. The angsty vocals and smouldering tunes of Frances Dickinson (Concertina), the versatile and soulful grooves of Emily Giles (Cello) and the crankin' riffs of Alex Borwick (Banjo/Trombone) make up this one-of-kind musical menagerie. www.myspace.com/forbiddenjoe

BLACK SAND DIVA: aka Cat Tunks WHO hails from Piha and brings her West Coast jazz and groove styles. Cat is a musical Chameleon and has
played this year's Auckland Zoo Music series, Waitangi Festival, The Jazz Club at Titirangi Festival, and is known for her work with the Jon Sanders Music Collective. Her style is a powerful blend of soul, jazz and folk mixed into the pot with plenty of spice. www.myspace.com/cattunks

POROA: Known to many as Andrea Tunks, Andrea was the recepient of the APRA Silver Scroll Maioha Award in 2007. Her pure, gentle vocals and her Te Reo lyrics are one of a kind.

FIONA MCEWEN: Fiona McEwen combines folk, pop, rock and Latin influences to create unique songs with catchy melodies. Since launching on the Auckland open mic scene in 2004, Fiona has performed with Steve Terry on guitar at open mic nights, venues, markets, folk clubs, Poetry Live and festivals throughtout Auckland and West Auckland. www.myspace.com/fionamcewen

Tickets $20 Available at Titirangi Pharmacy and Go West Music from July 1st. Door sales limited.
