you know what? i think that the machine head website may be wrong and they lumped COB on the aus tour by accedent coz they are supporting the them in europe. id be extremely happy if it were true but im not getting my hopes up.

MH, I've always liked... Slipknot I can take or leave. Coupla good songs per album but pretty much the Emo of Heavy Metal.

Well little Joey broke his ankle so they're cancelling some Euro dates, but will still be playing NZ. No word as yet who the fill-in drummer will be.

probably not. but i think it would be kinda wierd seeing 8 guys in masks and some random dude in normal clothes and no masks behind the kit. not important to me though coz im there for machine head mainly. slipknots gonna be awsome but not the draw card for me. plus the new slipknot album isn't the best, got bout 3 or four awsome tracks but the rest is just "yeah whatever"

Yeah I heard the new single, and while the verse was actually quite cool, the inevitable FRUITY CHORUS just has to pop in there! I'm all for melody, but not that kind of faggotry. If I wanted that I'd listen to My Chemical Romance

I read Corey's post about the accident, and he finished it with "Stay (sic)"... WTF is that really supposed to mean. This (sic) thing is just retarded. Kids are scrawiling it on their school bags "SAID IN CONTEXT"... Oh RLY? I'm not sure people actually know what it means

I do enjoy some of their music, but can't get past the 13yo "scare my parents" aesthetic.

yeah the new single aint that great and is totaly predictable. but some good songs on there like the killing name and all hope is gone.


i know what you mean, but to me their just fun, never thought of them as 'scary' to me that may be the point of view of a sheltered closed minded individual (same goes for acts like manson)
