New Zealand’s folk trio Turkey The Bird will remind you of a Margarita cocktail, infused with a hint of Simon & Garfunkel, 2 ounces of Mumford and Sons, a splash of Banjo, served on ice on a sunny day, placed on a massive plate of shiny brass.
Turkey The Bird teams up with the Hāwera Brass Band for two unique performances, with beautiful three-part harmonies, toe-tapping rhythms, and a selection of catchy folk songs from their 2 chart topping albums.
The bearded trio features André Manella from Switzerland, Adrian Whelan from Ireland, and Sol Bear Coulton, the token kiwi!
The first show is at the Spiegeltent on Thursday 10th November and the second will be held at the Hāwera Memorial Theatre on Saturday 12th November.
