L.A.B, Bic Runga, Teeks, Blindspott and Lee Mvtthews in first line-up announcement for 2024 Jim Beam Homegrown!

Wellington’s iconic Kiwi music festival, Jim Beam Homegrown has unveiled the initial line-up set to perform at the event on March 16, 2024. With 5 different genre stages you can come and go from along the Waterfront, it is like 5 festivals in 1. The line-up so far is brimming with first-timers, festival favourites and fresh new talent.

L.A.B, make their much-anticipated return along with other beloved Kiwi legends, Stan Walker, Sons of Zion, Ladi6, Katchafire, David Dallas, Home Brew, and the mighty Kora.

“We can’t wait to celebrate our new album L.A.B VI with our fans at Homegrown 2024!” says Joel Shadbolt

Making their Jim Beam Homegrown debut are two of Aotearoa’s most recognisable voices, legendary singer-songwriter Bic Runga and the incomparable Teeks. Other debutants include Coterie, Alien Weaponry, Kaylee Bell, Muroki, Georgia Lines, Rubi Du, 1814 and Lady Shaka.

“We are really excited to be playing our first ever Homegrown. I can’t wait to check out some of the other new acts and catch up with some old mates. Wellington crowds are always something special” says, Bic Runga.

The newly revamped supersized marquee for the Electronic Stage will be back and no doubt filled to capacity with the likes of Lee Mvtthews, Montell2099, Flowidus, and Sin & Brook on the decks. And Rock fans will be equally stoked with the return of Blindspott, Devilskin, Head Like a Hole, Dead Favours, and Volts.

Having tweaked the site layout every year for the last 16 sell-out festivals, organisers are promising the slick, seamless, friendly experience the event is famous for.

“We are stoked with how strong the line-up is over all 5 stages. As well as the big names, there’s a lot of fresh new acts making a mark; it feels like Kiwi music is going from strength to strength, which is awesome to be saying 17 years on!” explains event organiser Andrew Tuck.

Jim Beam Homegrown has transcended from being a mere festival; it has become iconic, a tradition and testament to the shared love for New Zealand music among Kiwis.

Tickets for Jim Beam Homegrown 2024 are on sale now at www.homegrown.net.nz. With Afterpay and payment plans available. Keep an eye on their website and social media channels for updates and surprises that will make this 17th-year of Jim Beam Homegrown, one to remember!
