Drax Project Announce NZ Summer Run This Dec/Jan

Drax Project, the chart-topping New Zealand sensation, are excited to announce their highly anticipated Summer Run of shows this December and January.

This news comes alongside the announcement of Drax Project's forthcoming full length album, Upside out Nov 24 pre-save here and a brand new single Oh My from the four piece.

Having been based in Sydney for the last six months, Drax Project are excited to get back to Aotearoa and do what they do best – tear up the stage! The Summer Run promises to be a thrilling musical journey, featuring the band's signature blend of pop, funk, and electronic elements that have captivated audiences worldwide. Drax Project's energetic live performances and undeniable charisma have made them a must-see act, and this summer, they're bringing their electrifying show to fans across the country.

The Summer Run will kick off on Thursday December 28 at the Mangawhai Tavern, followed by a show at the Waihi Beach Hotel on Friday December 29. On Wednesday 3 January fans can then catch the band at Shake & Bake at Upper Hutt’s Brewtown alongside Ocean Alley, Sublime with Rome and more. The tour then heads north to Butlers Reef, Ōakura on Friday 5 January with legendary Kiwi act Elemeno P, before concluding with a performance at Havelock North’s Black Barn on Friday 19 January - stay tuned for a massive second artist announcement for this show on November 2.
Fan favourite pop singer songwriter Aacacia will support Drax Project on all Summer Run headline shows.

Drax Project are known for their infectious hits like Woke Up Late, Catching Feelings, and All This Time. With a reputation for delivering high-energy shows that leave audiences wanting more, this tour is set to be an unforgettable experience for fans old and new.

Tickets for The Drax Project Summer Run are on sale Friday 27 October at midday from Ticketmaster. Mark your calendars and secure your tickets early, as Drax Project's shows have a history of selling out quickly.
