Matt Joe Gow And The Dead Leaves have had a huge year promoting their debut album ‘The Messenger’. They’ve headlined their own run of shows, performed at festivals including the Gympie Muster, Queenscliff Music Festival and Foggy Mountain Jam in Australia. They’ve also had key support spots as well as Matt being invited to be special guest support to Justin Townes Earle and Ronan Keating in New Zealand.
Matt also had his debut Tamworth Country Music Festival and certainly made a great impression on country music fans, media and aficionados in attendance.
Matt Joe Gow And The Dead Leaves have also received multiple nominations in the prestigious International Songwriters Competition. They have ‘Come What May’ in the Americana section and 'The Light' is a semi finalist in the music video section. Both tracks are from ‘The Messenger’.
Matt Joe Gow And The Dead Leaves latest single from ‘The Messenger’, ‘I Let You Be’ has recently been serviced to media. The film clip shot beautifully by Dead Leaves bass player; Kain Borlase is as gorgeous and inspirational as the song it supports.
After a short break, Matt Joe Gow And The Dead Leaves are returning to New Zealand for a run of shows on the South Island.
Thursday May 6 - The Penquin Club, Oamaru
Friday May 7 - Goodbye Blue Monday, Christchurch
Saturday May 8 - Chicks Hotel, Dunedin
