The After's Asia Pacific tour reaches New Zealand, and their single 'Mesmerised' picks up international airplay

26 September 2024 - 0 Comments

Powerhouse pop rock four-piece The After have just returned from a massive Asia-Pacific tour, having played 20 shows over four weeks in the Philippines, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia, with the New Zealand leg of the tour on this weekend.

This tour features a new line-up, with the band now fronted by Ruby Fraser on lead vocals and lead guitar duties. Ruby is a dynamic performer and an extraordinary musician, now based in Melbourne Australia.

They've also recently launched their latest single Mesmerised, which has just been added to the playlist of JAM 88.3FM in The Philippines.

During their tour, The After appeared on some of the biggest radio stations in The Philippines including Jam FM and Magic FM in Manila, and performed on the infamous Wish FM bus.

Last year’s 2023 Asia Pacific Tour included a short visit to Japan, with 3 Tokyo shows in 3 days. The band used the time between shows in Tokyo to film the music video for the previous single Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way.

Where There's A Will, There's A Way, along with a live performance English version of Filipino band Dilaw’s hit song Uhaw, went on to reach a combined 1 million platform views.
