One of Australia’s favourite punk bands have announced a tour of New Zealand. Sydney based punk rockers Lungs will head out on a 3 date tour of the North Island with Wellington’s own The Outsiders.
Lungs are one of Australia's most prolific and highly regarded Punk/Hardcore bands. Since forming in 2006 they have toured with such bands as ‘Propagandhi’, ‘NOFX’, ‘Lagwagon’, ‘Break Even’ and more.
Lungs play a technically intricate form of Punk/Hardcore similar to ‘Propagandhi’ and ‘A Wilhelm Scream’ and have had four releases in the last four years. The band will be touring NZ for the first time on the back of their second full length release The Two Chief World Systems, out now on Poison City Records.
The Outsiders are quickly becoming one of NZ’s premier Punk/ Alternative rock bands, with countless international tours and their chaotic live show earning them a reputation that is not easily matched. The band have just released their critically acclaimed debut album The Words Will Write Themselves and are touring in support of bands such as ‘Strung Out’, ‘Against Me’ and ‘CKY’.
Don’t miss the chance to see these two great bands live.
