DAVE DOBBYN RETURNS TO NZ & ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR

Last saturday night , Dave Dobbyn stood nervously in the wings of the Shepherds Bush Empire, London listening to the crowd roar as the lights went down and watching his band head on stage before him. It flashed across his mind as to how many of the gathered throng might be standing in the same place at the Coroglen Tavern in a few weeks time!

Such is Summer Touring. It’s almost an expectation for the thousands of Kiwis who return home for Christmas celebrations that they will catch Dave live at one of the Summer Touring meccas like The Waihi Beach Hotel, The Mangawahai Tavern or the legendary Coroglen Tavern. It really is unique.

After the Christmas feasts and parcel fiesta our attention turns to having a bloody good holiday, relaxing and having a big sing a long with Dave, having a lubricated throat will be essential.

This year is no exception as Dave brings his “Greatest Hits Summer Tour” to eight of our nations cracking summer hot spots including first time shows in Lower Hutt and Opononi.

No prizes for guessing what songs Dave will be performing!

Joining the tour are special guests Midnight Youth who are not lacking in the hit department either and to open the show, Dukes.
