May 26th marks the closing weekend celebrations of NZ Music Month and the opening weekend of Auckland’s newest, much awaited live music establishment, Paddington Live.
To celebrate the launch, Paddington Live has enlisted kiwi songstress Anika Moa to christen the stage with her full band, plus, special guests Wellington indie band, Family Cactus will be kicking off proceedings.
Situated only five minutes from Vector Arena, Paddington Live delivers music within the stylish surrounds of The Paddington, Parnell’s popular thirst quencher and dining establishment. This venue has a capacity of 300, brand new, state of the art audio & lighting and is perfectly set up to stage intimate, atmospheric shows as well as foot to the floor, rocking gigs.
The manager of Paddington Live, Scott Kennedy hails from Scotland and is a former musician himself. He understands the need to look after artists and clientele alike.
“We are very proud of what he have created with Paddington Live. Musicians are really looked after in our green room which is fully equipped with catering, wi-fi, television and live stage feed, while customers will experience a cosy, late night atmosphere, great service and a memorable show. There really is a shortage of good live music venues in Auckland, and Paddington Live hopes to change that”.
Tickets for the opening night featuring Anika Moa and Family Cactus are available now through Eventfinder.
