Eight strong and straight outta the Waikato, Katchafire have been at the forefront of NZ reggae for some ten years. Now making serious inroads in the US, the band return to their natural environment in support of their most recent album, the platinum-selling On The Road Again.

Always a festival highlight, Katchafire‘s 2012 has been one of continuous highs, both musically and otherwise.  A 25-date US tour saw them sell out the prestigious House Of Blues and was followed by a tour of Brazil which is to be the subject of a forthcoming documentary. Best known for their powerhouse live shows, complete with incredible vocal harmonies and insane musical precision, catch 'em while you can over summer.

Ladi6 is our own homegrown soul diva whose unmistakable smoky voice has graced tracks by The Adults, Shapeshifter, Fat Freddy's Drop, Scribe and Opensouls, not to mention her own top selling, award winning (including the prestigious Taite prize) albums.

Her dynamic and ever-evolving live show has travelled the world with band members Parks and Julien Dyne on drums, decks and all manner of beats and loops whilst Ladi6 commands the stage and mic with effortless skill and THAT voice. This year, Ladi6’s track “Like Water”  was named by MTV Iggy as the Best Love Song of 2012 and has won an Honorable Mention in America’s Unsigned Only Songwriting competition. Ladi6 will be returning to New Zealand this summer after recording her upcoming album in Detroit, USA.
