Following the release of their first EP I in 2011, Paquin releases II the 2nd instalment of their triple EP project on the 23 August. The EP features the first single Gunn, which was well received by many a set of ears earlier in the year, and the brand new single Glass Houses.
Paquin is the musical outlet of songwriter Tom Healy, producer for the likes of Die! Die! Die! and Popstrangers. II was recorded at the band’s home base and recording studio, The Lab, in 2012. In contrast to I, which was conceived largely as a solo project, II was arranged and performed by the live band, and showcases a movement towards a more dance orientated style of music. Joining the band for their upcoming tour is bassist Cass Basil (Tiny Ruins, Bannerman) who joins the existing line up of Tom Healy, Stuart Harwood and Westley Holdsworth.
II will be available on CD and online from the 23 August 2013.
