Hey there, My name's Sam and I've recently moved over here from Australia where I grew up and where I caught the music bug. I'm 22 and am very keen to get into the music scene of NZ. Prior to coming over here I played a few solo gigs at clubs and pubs around Townsville of North Queensland, and jammed a whole lot with my best mate Pegs.

I'm a huge fan of Pearl Jam and am in absolute awe of Mike McReady (PJ lead), however I like to take inspiration from Stone Gossart (PJ rhythm). Some of my other favourite artists are Dave Mathews, Audioslave/Chris Cornell/Sound Garded, Powderfinger, Foo Fighters, Tonic, Stone Temple Pilots, The Eagles, And a few others to say the least.

I've recently bought myself a new Maton acoustic guitar and am completely in love with that beautiful piece of wood.. Highly recommend!

It's great to see that NZ has addopted the aproach that it has toward up and coming musicians and or bands. And am impressed with such things as this web site.
