The international collaboration saw Ashton producing the track in London with Louis writing and recording his vocal parts in New Zealand.
"Ash and I have talked about doing a collab for some time so it's exciting to finally release this record together. ‘Won’t Stop’ is about never giving up on your dreams, and being true to who you are. It’s something we both resonate with, so it felt like the right vibe for the track" Louis says.
Ashton and Louis friendship began at jazz school in their home town of Wellington followed by five years in Brockaflower, a monster nine piece Neo-Soul, Experimental, Hip-Hop collective.
With a gold record already under his belt after producing the beat for Rod Waves’ track Close Enough to Hurt, the 27-year old musician has firmly positioned himself within the UK neo-jazz and beats landscape with his trademark guitar style blending jazz, hip-hop and classical music gaining him support from Jazz FM, WorldWide FM, Solar Radio and PickUp Jazz.
Won’t Stop follows on from singles 27 Years Young and Giant Steps forming part of Ashton’s Debut EP Ungrounded which is due for release this September.
