The Vibes Release 'What If I Told You'

02 September 2020 - 0 Comments

What If I Told You dropping 24th of September 2020 is the second single from The Vibes' upcoming album Saucery.

What If I Told You is a politically fired rock tune with a riff heavy breakdown. It speaks to the change required in western education to be your own person and not necessarily follow the conformity we were taught to accept throughout high school.

Resurging out of the COVID changes in our lives The Vibes present a tune a heavy and full tune track drawing inspiration from bands such as Cream, Royal Blood & Ocean Alley. "What If I Told You is a tune about taking hold of your life and looking behind the teachings you are taught in the educational system, a song of freedom promoting self belief and the understanding that you are free to be whoever you want to be in this life regardless of outside influence" comments lead singer Brendon Thomas.

The Vibes first Single Funk Blaster of the upcoming Saucery album has been met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike with YouTube channel Brown Prider Funk premiering the official visualiser to their 300,000+ subscribers.

Recorded at Depot Studios in Auckland & Engineered by Morgan Allen (Hot Knives, Head Like A Hole). Mastered at Studios 301 in Sydney by Leon Zervos (Muse, Rihanna, Maroon 5).

What If I Told You presents rock listeners with an audible pleasure through its full and fat guitar based tone colour. The Vibes recently opened for Australian heavyweight Wolfmother alongside Devilskin in Palmerston North.
