Up and coming Aotearoa Hip-Hop artist Kid Rey has today released a self-funded follow up video to celebrate his single Pages (which originally debuted at Number 9 on the New Zealand singles chart) and now has reached 100k + streams on Spotify.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Kid Rey moved to New Zealand when he was 4 years old and now lives in Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland. He has aspirations not only to take the New Zealand music industry by storm, but to take it to the World.
At 16 years old Kid Rey counts being on the NZ Top 40 charts twice, amassing over 27k Instagram followers, supporting Tyga at Hip Hop In The Park (2019), performing live at Listen In (2019), Bay Dreams (2020) and Sound Splash (2020) as among his achievements. Working closely with friends and producers such as LMC and Jai Beats, his work has been recognised internationally by artists Rich The Kid & Lil Skies among others.
