Former NZMIC Musician Mentor, Trevor Coleman, has been nominated not once, but twice, for an illustrious Emmy Award, in the category of 'Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft: Music and Sound.'
The New Zealander's compositions for the documentary film soundtracks, Equator: Power of an Ocean, and Buggin with Ruud - Madagascar; were both produced by NHNZ in Dunedin.
Trevor was a mentor at Kings High School, Dunedin, in 2004, as part of the NZMIC Musicians Mentoring in Schools programme.
The NZMIC say a big congrats to Trevor and wish him all the best for the Awards, which will be announced in New York on the 25th of September.
