The heats start tomorrow and will finish with the Grand Final held this year in Christchurch on October 12.
Along with the chance for all the bands to play at a professional type gig, the booty up for grabs this year is enough to make even our biggest bands green with envy. The national winners will score themselves three songs recorded and produced at York Street Studios in Auckland. They’ll also be getting musical equipment to the value of $10,000 supplied by some of the events sponsors.
Second and third place prizes win $5000 and $3000 worth of gear respectively.
