YFC are a post-punk trio from Christchurch with a unique line-up: Bass, Bass & Drums. From 1981-1984 they played up and down New Zealand and supported international acts including The Birthday Party.
Their 1984 vinyl, Between Two Thieves is a sought-after collector’s item. In 2005 they released a retrospective CD on Failsafe records, Ricochet.
In 2020, from their respective Norwegian, Australian, Japanese and New Zealand homes they have reunited with producer Rob Mayes to create a new album, Yankee Foxtrot Charlie, on Failsafe Records.
Paleface (Pell in Hell Mix), the first single off Yankee Foxtrot Charlie, is an accelerating, exhilarating drums and bass descent into the netherworld. Play Loud.
