“After travelling Aotearoa for the premieres, taking this movie back to the heartlands that have so deeply impacted SIX60’s success, I’m so proud to finally hand this over to the fans and we are overwhelmed with the response.” – Julia Parnell, Director

Directed and Produced by Julia Parnell (The Chills: The Triumph and Tragedy of Martin Phillipps, Anthems), the untold story reveals the meteoric underground rise that transformed rugby-playing students into Six60, Kiwi music icons reaching a scale previously unseen in New Zealand. Now they must rise up and prove they're worthy of their stage.

Fans have been wowed by stunning vision of their record-breaking stadium concert and never before seen footage of the band as students in Dunedin. The film presents a group of men confronting the true cost of never giving up and audiences have spoken of their emotional and inspiring reactions.

Six60: Till the Lights Go Out was made by Notable Pictures in association with the New Zealand Film Commission and NZ On Air, and distributed by UMUSIC.
