Music News - Whaea Stylz surrenders to her past

Whaea Stylz surrenders to her past

19 January 2021 - 0 Comments

Whaea Stylz has just released Surrender, an Electro Indie album. This is her first album for 2021 available on all the usual platforms. Nine songs of haunting lyrics that each tell a story, or at least hints towards, whatever Whaea Stylz has lived through. Obviously a very personal journey indeed, however just as they say "out with old and in with the new" she has offered us an insight to her past and like the title Surrender she is ready accept her past and move forward towards a bright future.

Her first solo work has involved doing all the audio recording, mixing and mastering through her Erthlite Productions studio. There is one song that includes Eman Gruvins' bass guitar work in the title track Surrender. She is based in Wellington and currently working on her first solo Reggae album. Whaea Stylz will be performing live streams and local gigs this year so keep a close watch on this artist as there is much more come.
