The True Colours Concert
St James Complex
Friday May 31 2002-Saturday June 1 2002-Sunday June 2 2002
The event is inspired by the annual New Zealand Music Month of May. During the month all manner of New Zealand artist promotions will take place on radio, TV and in the press. Many New Zealand artists are taking the opportunity to release new material under the spotlight of New Zealand Music Month. The idea of True Colours is to bring as many of these talented musicians as possible together and present them in a live environment.
Friday May 31 St James Theatre
The Finn Brothers ‘Hooley’
The Finn brothers, Neil & Tim, are a phenomenal combination. Although they have often guested together, a full performance by them together is rare. Like every New Zealand family, they are going to put on a ‘Hooley’. This will give the Finn’s a chance to invite some friends to join them for an open and relaxed evening. Some guests you might expect and some will be a surprise. Dave Dobbyn will be one and the legendary 78 year old Bill Sevesi QSM will be another. This show will be presented in two halves and is an R18 event with all bars open.
The Finn Brothers ‘Hooley’ will be sold as a reserved seating event although there is a large GA standing area as per normal for the St James Theatre directly in front of the stage.

The Westend Theatre
The Westend is the breeding ground venue for up and coming bands. This is where we want to draw your attention to new acts who we think have a future. We have so many to choose from it reinforces how strong the local scene is in New Zealand. So far we have confirmed Pan Am and will announce 5 other acts in the coming weeks for this stage.
Ticketing Just a reminder that one ticket will get you into all three venues on the day. Each venue has a limited capacity so you will have to plan your day out carefully.
