Music News - Wellington rockers Sidewinder release new single

The song is inspired by an actual historical figure - a Native American man who was the last survivor of a genocide against his tribe.
Sidewinder is a new combination of experienced musicians with a sound described as ‘bluesy desert / southern rock with a grungy aftertaste’.
Walk Of Ishi is the third single off the upcoming album recorded at The Surgery Studio with James Goldsmith engineering and mixing. Mike Gibson of Munki Studios did the mastering.
The first two singles have already received a satisfying amount of radio play both in New Zealand and overseas as well as a rapid uptake on streaming platforms and positive critical reviews.
Further songs have also been recorded and will be released in the following weeks. A full album is planned for early 2022.
