Talented young Kiwi singer Jackson Owens today reveals his first new single – a sweetly addictive and velvet-smooth R&B smash hit, Better With You.

After having massive success with his collaboration tune Love On The Run with Sons of Zion, Jackson is ready to put the focus firmly back onto the continued creation of his own body of work – something that he has been steadily progressing with renowned NZ record producer, Rory Noble (Kanye West, Ruel, Claire Rosinkranz).
Better With You sets the tone of Jackson’s overall musical project which is set to be released by the end of the year. A beautifully produced track featuring a gentle guitar strum and smooth groove, Jackson’s effortless vocals are as uplifting as they are soulfully calming.
Better With You paints a story of a young couple who are there for each other, through thick and thin. The message shared is ultimately one of gratefulness, for having someone that is there for you no matter what, as it can be a rare and beautiful thing to find and hold onto.
Talking about the track, Jackson says, “Better With You depicts time lost in a relationship where you were in many ways too scared to commit. Time apart makes you realise what you did have with that person was what completed you and made you whole. Now, here you are ready to ‘dive in’ because you're Better with that person. That’s what it means to him.”
