“Mid 2020 New Zealander D Bruce Aitken built a home studio and started recording experimental drum and percussion tracks daily. The freedom to be able to record whatever and whenever he had in his head and heart, eventuated in a lifetime of ideas that came pouring out of him.
Aitken had met Brown in 2017 when completing a Music Diploma at the TAFE, Sydney Australia, where Brown was the tutor in Music Theory.
Aitken then invited Sydney musician Levi J Burr to contribute Guitar and Bass on all tracks, and Legendary Australian guitarist, multi Instrumentalist Marcus Sturrock (formerly of Perth, but now residing in Tasmania), to add guitar, Bass and Piano on one track.
Topped off with advice and support of Sam Troy from Studio 301 in Sydney, this album is now completed and ready for release."
A Time Before Time is recorded, engineered, mixed & mastered by D Bruce Aitken
Automatic Static is the band name that Aitken & Brown perform under with an ever shifting line-up.
