ELCEE Shares Haunting Track 'Stay Out'

13 April 2022 - 0 Comments

Hot on the heels of her latest single Create UR Art, ELCEE returns with her haunting new release Stay Out, pulling inspiration from the intense unrest of falling in love.

Recorded at Parachute Studios and produced by Abigail Knudson, indie-pop songwriter ELCEE (Laura Charman), penned Stay Out after being unable to get someone out of her dreams. In her restlessness she found comfort in creating this very personal track. "I sat down and wrote Stay Out on my piano after I literally couldn't get someone out of my head. I couldn't sleep and found rest in the lyrics and melody", says ELCEE.

Since her 2016 debut, ELCEE has recently emerged from the shadows of her collage-infused bedroom, with a brand new sound of dreamy indie-pop soundscapes and evocative electronic elements to slowly unravel her intimate thoughts and experiences. Her sophomore album Cataclysmic Love is due for release mid-2022.
