Not One Step Back is a new fock ‘n’ rolk soundtrack from Ignatia : Rising.
A fock ‘n’ rolk soundtrack written especially for a gritty Western / Noir film. The setting is dark dirty alleyways, grimy speakeasy bars, and steaming infested swamps, for this tale of a protagonist no longer in control, a realisation that there is no choice other than to continue, and no option of taking a backward step, until conclusion.
The track features a solid rhythm section of acoustic drum, gravelly bass, and electric guitar, combined with harmonica, resonator guitars, percussion, and vocal.
A mash-up of rock, country, and bluegrass this song was engineered at The Castle (Auckland, NZ), mixed and produced by PS Studios (Auckland, NZ) with mastering performed by KOG Studios (Auckland, NZ).
About the band
Ignatia : Rising is a fock 'n' rolk musical group residing in various parts of little ol' NZ.
The fock 'n' rolk genre covers a gamut of musical styles and unshackles the band from the plethora and copiousness of pigeon-holiness.
They are creating music that digs a little deeper than how large thine coffers are, unrequited /over-interpreted requited lovers, and fustian shouting.
