In great ‘orange-light’ style SKRAM is celebrating their forthcoming debut album Walk Into The Sun, by hitting the road for an explosive tour around Aotearoa!
The Wellington/Te Whanganui-a-Tara-based high energy entertainers consist of Henry Ashby, Felix Nesbitt, Lee Pryor, Billy Miskimmin and new bandmate Tane Butler. What better way to welcome a new bandmate and release an album, than a twelve-date tour in venues across the North Island Te Ika ā Māui from NZ Music Month May onwards.
The tour kicks off at Butler’s Reef in Taranaki on May 14 and winds up in Turoa Lodge, Ohakune on September 10.
“We're beyond psyched to be hitting the road again, and to expand the SKRAMily!” says lead singer Henry. “Our last tour was such a whirlwind of epic Aotearoa venues and artists, that we just can't wait to keep sharing the stage, and our music, with as many people as possible. Our goal is to bring smiles, lots of jumping around and fun to every town we land in - ripping a wave of Skramily love through Aotearoa with our music! Let's go!”
The Walk Into The Sun tour comes after the band's successful summer of touring - meaning that SKRAM fans will already be lining up to grab tickets and get their groove. With a combination of emphatic vocals, dynamic rhythms and memorable melodies, SKRAM is known for the crowd-pleasing energy they bring to the stage. They’re also going to be joined by a mix of ‘SKRAMily’ special guests (to be announced soon).
This tour has ‘guaranteed good vibes’ written all over it! Tickets are available now at UTR - including VIP, which includes a SKRAM Goody Bag and supports all artists involved. Some artists already lined include Konarucchi, Taranaki Legends Fin Rah Zel and Kokoa Nashi.
