Fresh from a massive tour of Australia, L.A.B return home for two special winter shows. The first show takes place in Pōneke, Wellington on Friday June 24, marking New Zealand's first official Matariki public holiday, whilst the second show hits Kirikiriroa, Hamilton the weekend after on Saturday July 2 at Globox Arena (formerly Claudelands Arena).
The line-up in each city reflects a diverse cross section of top talent from across Aotearoa. Both shows see the queen of hype JessB take the stage with her energetic live show. Wellington will see Mara TK perform tracks from his stunning new album Bad Meditation alongside his full band, and will be joined in Hamilton by breakthrough Raglan group Masaya.
After both Wellington & Hamilton shows sold out in 2021, these shows are expected to do the same, especially with the Wellington show taking place over the first Matariki long weekend. These will be L.A.B’s first performances at home without any event restrictions since the release of L.A.B V.
Tickets for both shows are on sale Friday May 13 at 12pm. Fast becoming a winter tradition, these two special performances will see L.A.B’s stadium-sized show rolled into more intimate venues, while maintaining the energy that has seen them become one of NZ’s best live acts.
These two shows will see the band running through tracks from their new album L.A.B V, including the latest single Real Ones featuring Kings.
