The Motions is thrilled to announce the release of the debut album from The Motions, The Motions, available everywhere on 29/06/2022.
The Motions is the debut release from solo recording artist Reyne Robati. It is a journey through his many varying influences (funk, rock, electronic, metal) all layed atop a bed of psychedelia and dark ambience. Self-recorded, produced, and mixed, it is a project which very much lives within it’s own world and sound, with as much creativity and innovation found in the sonic productions as the songwriting itself. With a full suite of music videos currently in the works, the audio/visual experience of the album is going to be huge.
The Motions is an all encompassing musical identity for Wellington based musician Reyne Robati. As a producer, film composer and performing musician, The Motions is a way for him to consolidate all future projects and have a sole identity throughout the industry. Once the album is released, localised gigging around Wellington will commence, as well as future plans for a New Zealand tour.
