Music News - Village90 Delivers The Feels With New Release 'That's How I Know'

Following their debut tracks Young Love, and To The Wire, Village90’s next offering That’s How I Know showcases a romantic side to the R&B group, and sets the scene for what’s to come.
Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, the five-piece drew from their love for their genre to create their latest release. “R&B in its purest form was the motivation behind the song,” says Daniel of Village90. “Some of the best R&B songs are about love and all the things that come with it.”
That’s How I Know is about the perseverance and resilience that can come in a relationship, and follows a narrative about accepting the hardships in order to “love stronger, and love longer.”
Complementing the new track is a music video, directed by Elisha Oloapu and shot in their neighbourhood. The video captures the simplicity of appreciating the mundane moments, and sets a reminder that we shouldn’t take them for granted. Catch the premiere on YouTube 7pm, Friday 19th August.
